MEET THE CHILL TEAM OF EDUCATORS
My name is Adrian, I am from Sarapiqui Costa Rica, a place known for its evergreen forest and wildlife. This made it easy for me to love nature, to understand it, and be willing to share with others. As a member of Chill Expeditions, I discovered a new way to appreciate/interact with and educate others.
My life story starts when, as a child, growing in a banana plantation I knew that I wanted to do something opposite to a monoculture, something more influential and beneficial to the environment. I graduated from a small town school. There were only 4 kids in my high school class and it took me at least 45 minutes to get to school – there was no transportation available. We were a very small family ( just my mom and I) and she worked at the banana plantation since 1980 when banana was one of the main incomes and a quickly growing industry.
I began guiding in 2003, exploring different activities, from zip line to night walks, from indoor exposition animals to outdoors all over the country.
Then I found out about Chill Expedition, a new way to provide learning experiences, memories, stories. So my dream of making a difference with travel became true, it is a dream job that actually changes people’s life for good, so i am so grateful.
I have been working with Chill Expedition since 2008.
I am a father of a baby girl name Eva who I love with all my heart. My wife and I also love dogs – we have 3 of them. I do believe that we live in a beautiful paradise named Costa Rica and we have lots to show you! Pura Vida!
